☿Where is Mercury today?

What it means today

Mercury moves through Scorpio's shadowed territory now, turned inward and questioning everything you thought you knew—this is a time when curiosity becomes investigative, when words dig deeper than usual. The middle degrees of Scorpio amplify this introspective pull; communication today carries weight and intention, whether you're having crucial conversations or simply noticing what remains unspoken between you and others. This retrograde motion asks you to revisit old understandings, resurrect half-finished thoughts, and examine the hidden motivations beneath surface-level discussions, touching everything from your closest relationships to how you make sense of your own mind. Until early December, expect a collective mood of penetrating honesty and psychological depth—a time less suited to small talk and more suited to real exchange. Today, consider writing down a question you've been avoiding asking yourself; Mercury retrograde often clarifies what we're truly seeking when we finally give it space to emerge.
