Creator Terms & Conditions

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 "Astra or Astra Platform" means astralogico.com, including horoscopes, readings, Premium subscription, Ask Astra Interactive, and all related services.

1.2 "Creator Page" means your unique branded storefront at astralogico.com/c/[handle].

1.3 "Referral Link" means your unique tracking link in format astralogico.com/?ref=CODE and your Creator Page URL.

1.4 "Qualified Sale" means a completed, non-refunded purchase of a Reading, Premium Subscription, or Bundle by a Referred Customer, tracked via cookie and IP deduplication as set out in Clause 7.

1.5 "Referred Customer" means a person who first arrives via your Referral Link or Creator Page and whose purchase is attributed to you.

1.6 "Commission" means the percentage of Net Revenue payable to you as set out in Clause 8.

1.7 "Net Revenue" means gross amount actually received by Astra from a Qualified Sale, excluding VAT, sales tax, refunds, chargebacks, Stripe fees, and fraud.

1.8 "Termination Event" means any event listed in Clause 13 that ends your entitlement to ongoing Commission.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old. You must have a public social media presence and the legal right to promote Astra in your jurisdiction.

2.2 To apply, you must submit a complete application via astralogico.com/creators/apply. Astra may approve or reject any application in its sole discretion, without obligation to give reasons. Astra is recruiting 20 Founding Creators in the initial cohort but may expand at its discretion.

2.3 You represent that all information in your application is true, accurate, and not misleading. Providing false follower counts, engagement, or identity is a Termination Event.

2.4 Upon approval, Astra will issue you a Creator Page, Referral Link, and dashboard access at astralogico.com/creators/dashboard via magic link. You are responsible for keeping dashboard access secure.

3. RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES

3.1 You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchise. You have no authority to bind Astra, make representations on behalf of Astra, or incur liability on behalf of Astra.

3.2 You are responsible for your own taxes, national insurance, and compliance with local laws. Astra will not withhold tax. You must report Commission as income in your jurisdiction.

3.3 No exclusivity is granted. Astra may work with other creators, including in the same niche, region, or platform. You may promote competing astrology products provided you do not make false or disparaging claims about Astra.

4. CREATOR OBLIGATIONS AND CONTENT STANDARDS

4.1 You must promote Astra honestly. You must not make claims that Astra predicts the future with certainty, cures illness, provides financial advice, or guarantees outcomes. Astrology is for entertainment and reflection.

4.2 You must not claim you are an astrologer employed by Astra, or that your personal readings are Astra readings, unless expressly authorised in writing.

4.3 You must comply with all applicable advertising laws, including UK ASA/CAP Code and US FTC Endorsement Guides, and platform policies for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and any other platform you use.

4.4 Every paid post, story, video, LIVE, or link must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure at the START of the content, e.g. "#ad - I earn commission if you buy via my link". Disclosure buried in hashtags, in bio only, or after the link is a breach.

4.5 You must not use spam, unsolicited bulk DMs, bots, click farms, fake followers, or incentivised clicks. You must not bid on Astra trademarks in paid search without written consent.

4.6 You must not create fake testimonials, fake income screenshots, or imply guaranteed earnings. You must not state "everyone earns £X" or use Astra's pricing as a guarantee of your income.

4.7 Content must not be hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory. Content must not target children under 18 or vulnerable persons.

5. CREATOR KIT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

5.1 Astra grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Creator Kit (9:16 story cards, caption templates, logos, and approved copy) solely to promote Astra under these Terms.

5.2 You may not alter Astra logos, alter horoscope wording to change meaning, or create derivative products using Astra content. You may add your own commentary clearly distinguished from Astra's content.

5.3 All Astra content, horoscope text, chart calculations, and platform code remain Astra's intellectual property. You gain no ownership. Upon termination, you must remove all Astra Creator Kit assets within 7 days.

5.4 You grant Astra a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share, or feature your Astra-related content for marketing the Program, with credit, for 12 months after creation.

6. TRACKING, COOKIES, AND ATTRIBUTION

6.1 When a user clicks your Referral Link or Creator Page, Astra sets a cookie "astra_ref" and "astra_creator_handle" with a 30-day expiry.

6.2 Attribution is last-click within the 30-day window, subject to 24-hour IP deduplication to prevent duplicate click counting. Astra's tracking data is determinative.

6.3 If a customer uses an ad-blocker, clears cookies, uses private browsing, or purchases on a different device without clicking your link, no attribution may occur. Astra is not liable for untracked sales.

6.4 Self-referrals, purchases by you, your family, employees, or accounts you control, are not Qualified Sales and will be reversed.

7. PRICING AND PRODUCT

7.1 Current pricing as of 5 November 2026 is set out at astralogico.com/pricing and is incorporated by reference. Pricing may change at any time with 7 days' notice on the Pricing Page. Commission is calculated on the price actually paid at time of sale.

7.2 Premium Subscription: Annual £59.88 / €72.00 / $81.00 (equivalent £4.99/mo), Quarterly £17.97 / €21.75 / $24.00 (£5.99/mo), Monthly £6.99 / €8.50 / $9.50. Readings: £9.99 / €12.00 / $13.50 each. Bundles: Annual + 1 Reading £65.00 / €78.00 / $87.50, Annual + 2 Readings £69.00 / €82.50 / $93.00.

7.3 Free trial: New users receive 3 days full access, except Ask Astra Interactive limited to 1 question per day. After 3 days, only daily horoscope is readable; other sections appear blurred until subscription. You must not promise unlimited free access.

7.4 Astra may run promotions, discounts, or special offers. Commission is paid on discounted price actually received, not list price.

8. COMMISSION - 40% INITIAL, 20% ONGOING TRAILING

8.1 Initial Period: For the first 6 months after your approval date, you earn 40% of Net Revenue on every Qualified Sale attributed to you, including initial and renewal payments for Premium during that 6-month period.

8.2 Ongoing Trailing Period: After the Initial Period, you earn 20% of Net Revenue on every Qualified Sale and on every renewal payment for Premium subscriptions originally attributed to you, for as long as that customer remains a paying subscriber and until a Termination Event occurs. This is the "20% ongoing" or "20% trail" referred to in recruitment materials.

8.3 Illustrative Commissions (at current pricing, 40% rate): Reading £9.99 = £4.00, Annual £59.88 = £23.95, Bundle Annual + 1 Reading £65.00 = £26.00, Bundle Annual + 2 Readings £69.00 = £27.60. At 20% ongoing rate: Reading £2.00, Annual £11.98, Bundle £13.00-£13.80.

8.4 Commission is earned only when Astra has received payment and the refund/chargeback window has passed (14 days for Readings, 30 days for Premium). If a customer refunds, charges back, or payment fails, Commission is reversed or deducted from future payouts.

8.5 Commission is not payable on: (a) purchases by Astra employees, (b) fraudulent transactions, (c) purchases made via coupon abuse, (d) purchases where tracking was manipulated, (e) VAT/taxes.

8.6 Astra may adjust commission rates for NEW sales with 30 days' written notice (email and dashboard). Existing trailing rights for sales already made before the change remain at the rate in force at time of sale, unless a Termination Event occurs.

9. PAYMENTS

9.1 Payouts are made monthly via Stripe Connect or manual payout as displayed in your dashboard as "Mark paid", to the bank account you provide. All subscriptions are collected and retained by Stripe in the currency of the subscription. Astra does not convert subscription revenue between currencies. GBP subscriptions are collected and retained in GBP, EUR subscriptions in EUR, and USD subscriptions in USD. You are responsible for providing correct payout details, including bank accounts that can receive each currency, and for completing Stripe KYC.

9.2 Multi-Currency Accumulation and Separate Thresholds: Commission accrues and accumulates separately in each currency. GBP Commission accumulates separately from EUR Commission and USD Commission. No amounts are combined or converted across currencies for threshold purposes. A payout in a currency is triggered only when the Commission balance in that specific currency reaches its threshold: GBP Commission - payout triggered when GBP Commission totals £25.00; EUR Commission - payout triggered when EUR Commission totals €25.00; USD Commission - payout triggered when USD Commission totals $25.00. Example: if you have £20.00 GBP Commission and €30.00 EUR Commission, only the EUR €30.00 is paid - the GBP £20.00 rolls forward to the next month until it reaches £25.00. Balances below the threshold in a given currency roll forward to the next month in that same currency until that currency's threshold is met. If your bank does not accept a payout currency, Stripe may convert at Stripe's prevailing rate at payout - Astra is not liable for any FX loss, conversion fee, or bank charges arising from such conversion.

9.3 Payouts are made within 30 days after month-end for each currency that has met its threshold, subject to refund hold. Astra may delay payout in any currency if fraud is suspected pending investigation up to 60 days.

9.4 You will receive a statement in your dashboard showing clicks, sales, pending/approved/paid status, and CSV export. If you dispute a statement, you must notify Astra within 14 days, otherwise it is deemed correct.

9.5 Astra may offset any overpaid Commission, reversed sales, or chargebacks against future Commission.

10. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

10.1 You must not: (a) impersonate Astra, (b) create fake Astra websites, (c) use Astra in domain names or handles that imply official status (e.g. astraofficial), (d) buy followers to inflate eligibility, (e) offer cashback or rebates to customers to induce purchase without approval, (f) promote Astra on adult, gambling, or illegal content sites.

10.2 You must not make medical, mental health, or financial claims. Example prohibited: "Astra will cure your anxiety" or "Astra says you will get rich". Allowed: "Astra gives me a moment to reflect on money focus today."

11. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

11.1 You must not collect, scrape, or misuse personal data of Referred Customers. You must not add customers to email lists without consent.

11.2 Astra processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. As Creator, you are an independent controller for any data you collect via your own channels and must comply with UK GDPR / EU GDPR as applicable.

12. CONFIDENTIALITY

12.1 You must not disclose confidential information including dashboard analytics, conversion rates, commission structures beyond what is public on /creators, or unpublished product plans, without Astra's written consent.

13. TERMINATION - TERMINATION EVENTS AND EFFECT ON 20% ONGOING

13.1 Termination by Creator: You may terminate at any time by emailing support@astralogico.com. Termination takes effect 7 days after notice.

13.2 Termination by Astra for Convenience: Astra may terminate with 30 days' written notice.

13.3 Immediate Termination Events (for Cause): Astra may terminate immediately, without notice, if you: (a) commit fraud, self-referral, click fraud, or manipulate tracking, (b) materially breach these Terms and fail to cure within 7 days of notice, (c) repeatedly fail to include #ad disclosure after warning, (d) make false, misleading, or prohibited claims about Astra, (e) engage in conduct that causes material reputational harm to Astra, (f) become insolvent, (g) are convicted of fraud or dishonesty, (h) promote competing astrology product using Astra's confidential data, (i) remain inactive (no post linking to Astra for 90 consecutive days) after 14 days' notice, (j) are banned from a major platform for violating its policies in connection with Astra promotion.

13.4 Effect on Commission: (a) If you terminate or Astra terminates for convenience, your 20% ongoing trailing Commission continues for 12 months after termination for Premium renewals from customers acquired before termination, provided no Termination Event for Cause has occurred. (b) If Astra terminates for Cause under Clause 13.3, your entitlement to all unpaid and future Commission, including 20% ongoing trailing, ceases immediately on the date of termination, and any pending Commission is forfeited. (c) For the avoidance of doubt, the commitment to pay 20% ongoing continues indefinitely until a Termination Event for Cause occurs or the 12-month post-termination run-off in (a) expires, whichever is earlier.

13.5 Upon termination, your Creator Page and Referral Link will be deactivated, and you must remove all Astra branding within 7 days. Customers who purchased via you before termination remain customers of Astra.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

14.1 Astra may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version at astralogico.com/creators/terms and notifying you by email or dashboard. Continued participation after 14 days constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must terminate under Clause 13.1.

15. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

15.1 Astra provides the Platform "as is" without warranties. Astra is not liable for lost profits, indirect loss, or loss of followers. Astra's aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to Commission actually paid to you in that period.

15.2 You indemnify Astra against claims arising from your content, your failure to disclose #ad, your breach of law, or your misleading claims.

15.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. GENERAL

16.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms, the Pricing Page, and the Creator Program page constitute the entire agreement and supersede prior representations. No oral promise is binding.

16.2 No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

16.3 Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

16.4 Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without Astra's written consent. Astra may assign to a successor in connection with a sale of the business.

16.5 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

SCHEDULE 1 - PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY (NOT LEGALLY BINDING, FOR CONVENIENCE)

You earn 40% for first 6 months, then 20% ongoing on renewals until a bad event (fraud, no #ad, lying about Astra, 90 days inactive) ends it. You must say #ad at start. You get your own page /c/name + daily cards. We pay monthly via Stripe if you have £25+. If you quit or we end for convenience, you still get 20% trailing for 12 months on customers you brought. If you cheat or break rules, you lose all unpaid commission immediately.
